Gina’s Taco Seasoning

Yes!!! Taco Tuesday has to be (hands down) our families favorite dinner night of the week. We always know what we are having! Proof that consistency is good for the soul! 😂 Our family tends to go for the ground beef (grass fed, pasture raised, regenerative farm…yada, yada, yada). But this seasoning is spot on for anything you want to spice up with a Mexican flare. I have even used this to make Mexican Sweet Potato Tacos…YUM!

Ingredients (aka your spices)

1 TBSP Chili Powder

1.5 TSP Ground Cumin

1 TSP Smoked Paprika (or if you are like us and like it more paprika-ie go for 1.5 TSP)

1/4 TSP Dried Oregano

1/4 TSP Garlic Powder

1/4 TSP Onion Powder

1/4 TSP Ground Pepper

1/4 TSP Red Pepper Flakes

1/4 TSP Salt (optional-the seasonings are so delicious, you don’t really need salt, but it does add a bit more zing to the dish)

1 Pound Protein of Choice

How To

Add all seasonings to a bowl and mix together.

Cook any protein you wish to season. (Ground meat, pulled meat, cubed and cooked veggies, etc.)

Add seasoning to prepared protein with 3/4 cup of water, mix thoroughly.

Cover and lower heat to a simmer for about 5 minutes.

Stir and serve!
